Accreditation Statement

The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

California Assembly Bill 1195 and California Assembly Bill 241, require continuing medical education activities with patient care components to include curriculum in the subjects of cultural and linguistic competency (CLC) & implicit bias (IB). It is the intent of AB 1195 (effective July 1, 2006) and AB 241 (effective January 1, 2022) to encourage physicians and surgeons, CME providers in the State of California, and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to meet the cultural and linguistic concerns of a diverse patient population and reduce health disparities through appropriate professional development. ELITe will discuss building DEI and cultural competency into curricula.

How much is the conference?

Registration is $499. This includes the course, as well as breakfast and lunch during the conference.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations earlier than 2 weeks in advance, your fee will applied to next year’s conference. We cannot accommodate cancellations within 2 weeks of the conference.
